Department of CSE in association with Career Guidance Cell Faculty of Engineering arranged a guest talk by Ms. Asha Nair on 28-08-2015 at #203, II Block, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Kengeri Campus. Students from 7BTCS, 7BTIT, 3MTCS and 3MTIT along with dept. HOD and faculty members attended the talk.
Ms. Asha Nair have close to 12 years of experience in Human Resources functions andcurrently heading site HR responsibility for Iron MountainBangalore for past 5 years. She is exposed to  all gamut’s of HR functions, end to end Talent Acquisition, Talent Engagement, HR strategy, Business partnering, Learning and Organization Development, Employee Relations, Performance management, HR policies, Legal compliance, Benefits and Compensation.

Ms. Nair gave an interactive session to the students on career development in the corporate sector. She elucidated her own experience in managing the fresh batch of employees on their induction and performance mainly in the first year of their employment. Ms. Nair also conducted an experimental activity based learning in her session. Students had a good number of takeaways and insights of the talk.
